Sporting events are part and parcel of Malaysian culture and the country takes pride in organising them. Malaysia played host to the 9th ASEAN Para Games with the official motto "Rising Together" at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on September 17, 2017. The immersive experiences adorned the interiors and exteriors of the stadium and complemented the performances with interactive light projections. The event featured projections of the 9th ASEAN Para Games' Mascot, a lush floral art, a kaleidoscope and opening of scrolls, and a graceful rotating flow of geometric patterns with the official Games' logo on the stadium's exterior.
